Psychologists Increasingly Sporting NormCore Style at Scientific Conferences, Attendees Oblivious

NEW ORLEANS (RPT) – Respected researchers attending the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) conference have been seen wearing unisex button-up shirts, oversized jackets, and other unpretentious clothing in the NormCore style since the meeting began Thursday. This is part of a growing trend among academics to choose clothes that are functional, comfortable and undistinguished.

An RPT correspondent approached a female conference attendee clearly wearing NormCore fashion for a comment about her NormCore attire. “What is NormCore?” she replied, “I have no idea what you’re talking about. I just got this jacket at Costco. Who are you anyway and why are you asking me about my clothes?” Shortly thereafter, the RPT correspondent reporting this story was escorted out of the conference by security.
