'Do You Even Lift?' Asks Graduate Student of Full Professor During Q&A at Health Psychology Conference

NEW ORLEANS (RPT) – A graduate student going by the pseudonym ‘Kyle’ asked a highly regarded full professor a disrespectful question during the Q&A at the Health Psychology Pre-conference at the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) today, causing tension and drama in the aftermath of the plenary address. “I just DON’T GET how these people can all talk about health, but like, do they even lift, bro? NO!” he asserted in between guzzles of his Monster energy drink, “Dude needs creatine powder and do some squats.”

RPT asked the plenary speaker to comment on the incident. “I think this is a classic case of toxic masculinity. Kyle, or whatever you want to call him, is clearly an aggro idiot. He is tainting this symposium with his misogyny and bullying.”

We asked Kyle for a response to the plenary speaker’s comments. “WOW. Toxic masculinity? That really means A LOT coming from someone who doesn’t even lift, bro. I’m gonna’ go slam some pre-workout and hit the gym like a REAL man.”
