Peer Review does not Pass Peer Review, Tear in Fabric of Spacetime Appears

WASHINGTON (RPT) – Scientists at NASA reported to the public on Wednesday that a tear in the fabric of spacetime has developed as a result of peer review not passing peer review. Scientists have traced this phenomenon back to the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, where the peer review process was rejected by a team of unpaid peer reviewers who did not have time to fully evaluate peer review, but decided to reject peer review to express their frustration about navigating the peer review process. Due to this rejection, the peer review process will likely end up in a lower-tier journal.

A NASA scientist explained the situation to a local RPT correspondent at NASA headquarters in Washington D.C. “We believe that the universe is held together like glue by researchers’ faith in the peer review process. Whenever political agendas or unchecked egos compromise the integrity of this system, they also compromise the integrity of the universe.” He added, “Either that or we pissed off some aliens.”
